April 11-15

Instructor: Brendon Kimmel

The Water Damage Restoration Technician course is designed to teach restoration personnel that perform remediation work to give them a better concept of water damage, it’s effects and techniques for drying of structures. This course will give residential and commercial maintenance personnel the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mold.

The Applied Structural Drying (ASD) certification is designed to teach the effective, efficient, and timely drying of water-damaged structures and contents, using comprehensive classroom and hands-on training to facilitate appropriate decision-making within a restorative drying environment. The certification is for the water damage restorer who has attended the Water Restoration Technician (WRT) course and understands water-damaged environments and employee health and safety in the workplace. Upon completing the certification, students should be effectively prepared to self-sufficiently perform drying strategies while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants.

This class takes place in person at our IICRC Certified Flood house in South Sioux City Nebraska.

IICRC Exam Fees: $80.00 for exam; retests will be $80.00. These fees are in addition to the registration fee, and are paid directly to IICRC. This class involves TWO separate certifications and tests so the total testing fee for this will be $160.
